一 | 네팔 중북부 라수와 지역 ‘어퍼트리슐리(UT)-1’ 수력발전소 공사 현장 근처에서 발생한 홍수 장면. 로이터/연합 히말라야 산맥이 통과하는 네팔 중북부 라수와 지역 ‘어퍼트리슐리(UT)-1’ 수력발전소 공사 현장 근처에서 발생한 홍수로 수백명의 실종자가 발생한 가운데, 두산에너빌리티와 한국남동발전 직원 등 한국인 8명도 실종 상태인 것으로 확인됐다. 남동발전은 2016년 네팔 정부와 216MW급 민자 수력 발전사업 계약을 했다. 올해 말 준공을 목표로 2022년부터 두산에너빌리티가 시공 중이었다. 두산에너빌리티는 26일 밤 8시20분 보도자료를 통해 “이날 오전 9시30분께(현지시각) 발생한 대규모 홍수로 당사가 설계·조달·시공(EPC) 공사를 수행 중인 수력발전소 건설 현장의 일부 직원들이 현재 연락이 닿지 않고 있는 것으로 파악됐다”고 밝혔다. 두산 쪽은 현지 한국인 직원은 모두 20명이며, 홍수 발생 당시 현장에 있던 직원 15명 가운데 5명이 현재까지 연락이 되지 않고 있다고 했다. 두산에너빌리티는 비상대책본부를 구성하고 정연인 대표이사를 비롯한 현장대응팀을 현지에 급파할 예정이다. 남동발전 쪽도 “현장 직원 7명 가운데, 현재 공사 관리 담당자 3명이 연락 두절 상태”라고 했다. 남동발전도 본사 임직원을 현지에 보낼 예정이다. 한국기업의 네팔 1호 민자 발전사업인 UT-1 수력발전소는 네팔 수도 카트만두 북쪽 70㎞ 지점 트리슐리강에 건설 중이다. 이 지역은 고산 협곡지대여서 집중 호우로 인한 산사태와 범람 위험이 큰 지역으로 알려져 있다. 총사업비는 6억4700만달러, 공사 기간은 5년이다. 한국수출입은행, 국제금융공사, 아시아개발은행, 아시아인프라개발은행 등 9곳이 대주단으로 참여했다. 남동발전과 한국해외인프라도시개발지원공사가 주요 주주사로, 남동발전은 준공 이후 30년간 발전소를 직접 운영할 예정이다. 상업운전을 시작하면 네팔 전체 전력 공급량의 20%를 담당하게 된다.。
二 | Moscow, Oct 19 (UNI) Over five million people have attended the online Russian Film Festival (RFF) in China, with fantastic drama Attraction, drama Salyut-7 and comedy Partner leading in viewership, the press service of the Russian state movie agency Roskino reported on Wednesday.
"The Russian Film Festival, held online on one of the world's largest Tencent Video platforms from September 26 to October 15, has ended in China. More than 5 million people have become viewers," the report said.
In three weeks, Chinese viewers were able to watch 17 Russian films of different genres for free. According to the report, the top three films in terms of number of views included fantastic drama about aliens Attraction directed by Fyodor Bondarchuk, drama Salyut-7 directed by Klim Shipenko and Alexander Andryushchenko's comedy Partner.
Chinese audience could also watch such recent Russian hits as disaster movie Metro, sports drama Upward Movement, space drama The Time of the First, comedy I'm losing weight, and thriller trilogy based on the works of great Russian classic Nikolai Gogol, Gogol.The beginning, Gogol.Viy, Gogol.Terrible Revenge, among others.
"This is a great result, and we are glad that the Chinese audience appreciated the modern Russian cinema. The preferences of the audience confirm the trend towards science fiction and spectacular pictures with powerful visual effects in the Chinese film market. The undisputed leader was the sci-fi film Attraction by Fyodor Bondarchuk, it was watched by more than 2.5 million people. The director of Attraction, Fyodor Bondarchuk, noted that Chinese viewers today can rightfully be called the most devoted audience of blockbusters, adding that it is "a great joy" for Roskino to gain recognition from the Chinese moviegoers well acquainted with this genre, according to the report.
The RFF is part of the days of Russian cinema abroad, which have been held by Roskino with the support of the Russian culture ministry since 2020. The main goal of the RFF is to introduce foreign viewers to a variety of modern Russian content. In 2020-2021, the festival took place in 23 countries, attracting over a million viewers.
